Our Mission
Make chemistry more accessible for students and educators worldwide, offering precise, free calculation tools without barriers. We believe good educational tools should not cost anything.
What is WikiMica?
WikiMica is an interactive chemistry tools platform developed by the team at quimicafacil.net, an educational project based in Bogotá, Colombia, dedicated to chemistry education and outreach.
The name WikiMica combines the idea of collaborative, open knowledge (wiki) with chemistry (química), reflecting our commitment to free, quality education.
What we offer
Six calculation tools cover the fundamental topics of general chemistry:
- Equation balancer — Gauss-Jordan algorithm with exact arithmetic, nested parentheses support, stoichiometric calculator, and limiting reactant.
- Molar masses — All 118 elements with IUPAC 2021 masses, elemental breakdown and percent composition.
- Solutions and concentrations — Molarity, molality, mass %, ppm, dilutions, and unit converter.
- Ideal gases — PV = nRT, Boyle's, Charles's, and Gay-Lussac's laws, Dalton's Law.
- pH and acid-base equilibrium — Exact quadratic equation for weak acids, Ka/Kb/Kw, Henderson-Hasselbalch buffers.
- Electrochemistry — Cell potential, Nernst equation, ΔG°/K/E° triangle and Faraday's laws.
